Insomni’hack 2022
Dear Insomni’hack friends & partners,
It has been a while since the “good ol’ 2019” and the time where in-person events were the norm.
The past year has certainly imposed a lot of changes in our habits. Although we all missed the big events, the smaller events or simply meeting with each other for a few drinks, the priority was undoubtedly elsewhere.
As you have noted, at SCRT we chose not to go online with Insomni’hack. That was a deliberate decision. Of course, we have thought about it (extensively) but came to the conclusion that it would be too different an event and that we didn’t want to go that way. Some of you may disagree with that decision but we are confident that most easily understood our position.
That being said, things are now changing and light is appearing at the end of the tunnel…
Organizing (safe) in-person events in Switzerland (and Europe in general) now seems more and more likely again as time passes. For that reason we have decided to go for it and commit on a date for the next edition of Insomni’hack !
We will thus be pleased to welcome you from March 24th to March 26th at Geneva Palexpo for Insomni’hack 2022 !
More details will follow overtime, however as usual you may expect:
- A series of (1,2 or maybe 3-day) pre-conference workshops,
from Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd; - 2 full days of (multi-track) talks, Thursday 24th and Friday 25th;
- The traditional on-site CTF, starting Friday 25th at the end of the afternoon
and extending overnight; - A series of other challenges and social events throughout the week.
