Cyber Security for Critical Infrastructure 4.0 2019

As its need for greater efficiency continues to drive the convergence of connected operational technology with enterprise IT systems, increasing the attack surface exponentially, it was reminded by high profile cyber attacks of the ability of determined and well-funded threat actors to penetrate our systems and disrupt operations across global critical infrastructure.

With the NIS directive and the GDPR providing regulatory frameworks to rally behind, along with effective cyber security standards and ISACs to unify the efforts, it is making real and tangible progress towards collective resilience. It is more important than ever that we engage internal stakeholders and deepen cross-sector and transnational collaboration to leverage the resources at our disposal to understand and mitigate the threats we face.

The inaugural European Critical Infrastructure Cyber Security Conference launch is a new addition to the Cyber Senate portfolio, building on its reputation and expertise in bringing together senior information security professionals responsible for the secure operation of essential assets along with some of the world’s leading cyber security subject matter experts. Together, it continues its work towards developing a holistic strategy for securing our critical physical and digital assets.

Taking place on March 26th and 27th in Amsterdam, Netherlands, this two-day executive forum will include presentations, case studies and multiple cross-disciplinary panel discussion sessions addressing industry efforts in developing greater resilience to threats to our economic security, data privacy, public confidence, operational availability, and safety.
