Holyrood Connect’s Cyber Security 2018

Holyrood’s annual Cyber Security conference aims to examine the latest developments, emerging threats, good practice, the next steps to strengthen defences, improve preparedness and cyber resilience.

‘There are only two types of companies: those that have been hacked and those that will be.” – Robert Mueller, former FBI Director

Key issues to be addressed:

Recent cyber security policies, priorities and thinking.
Current and emerging threats and technologies within a national and international context.
How to strengthen cyber defence systems and strategies.
Good practice and innovation in preventing, detecting and responding to attacks.
Developing a whole-organisation approach – improving awareness, culture and behaviour.

Who should attend

The conference will be suitable for everyone with a professional interest in cyber security, from private businesses to government bodies and third sector organisations. The majority of delegates at previous conferences were drawn from central government, local government, police and fire services, health services, education and the third sector.

Each previous Cyber Security event has sold out so book early to avoid disappointment.
