ABOUT BSides

BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members.
The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration.  It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.

ABOUT Bordeaux

Bordeaux was voted the European Best Destination 2015 and it is a favorite city of the French. After a 15-year full makeover, Bordeaux, with its blonde stone façades, has recovered its 18th-century splendor, confirmed by the historic city centre’s recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. Besides being the World Capital of Wine, Bordeaux has become an international brand for tourism with almost 6 million visitors each year. An attractive city for business as well as for lifestyle. Aside from wine and tourism Bordeaux has a thriving technology sector, with new companies starting up all the time and a number of incubators.  It is the type of high tech, information sharing place that would be perfect for a BSides Unconference.
